Privacy Policy

LeadEvents, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Reach platform, including our iOS application and web dashboard (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service.

By accessing or using Reach, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information. When you create an account or sign in using Google authentication, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo as provided by Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Lead Data. When you use Reach to capture leads at trade shows and events, we collect and process:

  • Contact information extracted from badge photos or business cards (name, title, company, email, phone number)
  • Enriched data obtained through third-party data providers (company size, funding information, industry classification, LinkedIn profile URLs, and other publicly available business information)
  • Lead scores and classifications generated by our algorithms

Voice Notes and Transcriptions. If you record voice notes through the Service, the audio is transmitted to third-party services for transcription and analysis. The resulting transcriptions may be analyzed for conversation intent and context. Audio recordings are not stored on our servers after transcription is complete. Only the resulting text transcriptions and AI-generated analysis are retained.

Our AI and data processing providers are accessed through commercial API agreements under which customer data is not used to train or improve their models.

Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including device type, operating system version, app version, feature usage, and error logs.

Badge Photos. When you capture a badge or business card, the image is resized on your device and transmitted to our servers, which forward it to a third-party AI service solely for the purpose of extracting contact information (name, title, company, email, phone number). The image is used only for this extraction and is not stored by us after processing is complete. Only the extracted text fields are retained.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Enrich and score leads captured through the platform
  • Generate transcriptions of voice notes and analyze conversation context
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • Send you Service-related communications (account notifications, updates, security alerts)
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve functionality
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security threats

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers. We share data with third-party providers who assist us in operating the Service. These providers fall into the following categories:

  • Cloud infrastructure and database hosting providers
  • AI and machine learning services (for contact extraction, transcription, and analysis)
  • Data enrichment providers (for supplementing lead records with publicly available business information)
  • Authentication providers (such as Google and Apple sign-in services)

These providers are bound by contractual obligations to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or safety, or investigate potential violations.

Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data Enrichment

When you capture a lead, Reach may automatically enrich the contact record with additional publicly available business information through third-party data providers. This enriched data may include company details, job titles, LinkedIn profile URLs, funding information, and other business intelligence. This enrichment is performed solely to help you prioritize and manage your leads more effectively.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Lead data and associated scores, enrichments, and transcriptions are retained for as long as your account remains active unless you request deletion.

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below.

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, access controls, and secure authentication. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information
  • Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data
  • Objection: Object to processing of your personal information in certain circumstances

8. Third-Party Services

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those of your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.
